We welcome all WWOOFers to our 70-acre farm and vineyard, 40 km east of Hobart. We have 4 kids and many animals. Our house is beautiful, with a large garden, hammocks, pool, river, swimming lake and kayaks, and is 30mins drive to the coast, city and airport. We also have a house in the city with kids now going to school and working in the city, so time may be split between farm and the house in Hobart. The house in town is located in Sandy Bay, about 4km from Hobart CBD. Gardening, orchard, vineyard and animal work to suit your skills and abilities. Space for up to 2 WWOOFers. Strictly no smoking. Shared meals, mixed diet. English and German spoken.  Initial stay 2 days, then negotiable. Hope to see you soon!

One of my uncle's had their farm on WWOOF when I was younger and I was there when he had different people from across the world helping him. Now that I'm older, from my perspective, I believe in creating constructive beneficial change. Organic farming is one way of contributing to the community in a helpful and healthy way that I can take part in thanks to WWOOF.

A stunning 50-acre property 950 meters above sea level in the most beautiful Lachlan Shire in NSW. Under three-hour drive to Sydney and situated under two hours' drive to the nation's capital Canberra. I breed miniature goats and love the peace and privacy of my property. Accommodation is in a private separate flat with bathroom, kitchen and separate bedroom with double bed. The area is mainly sheep country and is very picturesque. The property has some gardens, miniature goats, a Maremma  and sheep. Time spent helping with miniature goats, gardening, weeding and general farm maintenance and just enjoying the peace.

We both are very interested in the idea of producing our own food and have a little dream of our own acreage and some animals in the future. Also we love the chance to settle down for a bit and do some work while travelling Australia and meet some friendly people.

After 25 years of hosting I have decided to only accept people with a comprehensive set of skills. I no longer have the patience to keep teaching people simple skills such as weeding and washing dishes. No first time WWOOFers[Sorry] Only people with positive references will be considered. ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING OR VAPEING ON THE PROPERTY. I prefer to breathe clean air. Read again so you are sure. PLEASE DO NOT BRING PERFUMED PRODUCTS [SHAMPOO, CONDITIONER ,BODY WASH , SOAP ,SUNSCREEN] I can supply an alternative. I have become highly sensative to "perfumed products" .People have not been getting the first message on my profile so PLEASE DO NOT BRING ANY BODY OR HAIR CLEANING PRODUCTS. I WILL SUPPLY THEM FOR YOU.    If there is someone interested in a long term place to live and learn about organic farming, I am open to that. There are areas of usable land that I'm not really able to keep up with, so they could be yours for growing"whatever" to make some income.  Please read section 7 of the guidelines for Wwoofers and understand it. Hi All you lovely WWOOFers. I'm especially looking for some long term people if they are around. I've been very fortunate to live in this beautiful part of Tasmania for 30 years and just love being able to share it with people from all over the world. There is 19 ha of farm to care for [some bush, pastures and extensive fruit and vegetable gardens]. Then there's millions of ha of stunning mountain and alpine wilderness to explore right behind the farm. Please come and enjoy life for a while. I prefer people to stay at least  one month and have a genuine interest in learning about sustainable farming and living.

We really admire the concept of wwoofing, and the potential for a mutually beneficial arrangement is really appealing. The wwoofing program enables us to travel economically, whilst gaining practical experience, get to know local people and explore new areas.

I left Sydney to get away from the city; I arrived into Byron and started applying for work; Had an interview for a housekeeping job at a hostel; Realised I really didn't want to do that and just wished to be out in the Bush, living the simple life, enjoying what Australia truly has to offer. WWOOF! Lightbulb moment. It is amazing to see so many hosts and I'd love to help out over winter.

We have a 100 acre farm situated 15 minutes from beautiful Yeppoon. We grow seasonal vegetables and herbs using organic practices and have cows, goats, chooks and dogs. We strive to live a sustainable lifestyle and sell out produce weekly to the local community. We have a self contained and comfortable caravan with a double bed and a fold out bed. The van is positioned in our 2 acre yard. We need help with the market garden (planting, picking, weeding, mulching, trellising, irrigating fencing and whipper snipping).

The reason I decided to join WWOOF is because I want to experience living and working with people from different cultures. I am also interested in nature, organic farming, and sustainable lifestyles. I hope to learn new things, make friends from around the world, and improve my English skills through this experience.

Note: 88 day 2nd year Visa flood recovery volunteer work offered. Minimum 3 week stay, with first week a trial to make sure you are enjoying the work and fit in. Summerleigh is a family farm in the Macedon Ranges. Jack and I are city escapees and regenerative farmers, inspired by the likes of Alan Savory, Joel Salatin and Charles Massey. Our goal is to improve the ecosystem and soils by integration of livestock, mainly cattle and chickens, to produce healthy, chemical free and nutrient dense food and we hope to soon add a small market garden to supplement our direct to market egg and beef business. We are also in the process of revegetating a sizable wildlife corridor and wetland habitat along the permanent creek in the valley below the homestead and hope to return the gardens around the homestead to their former glory, with an orchard and ornamental flower beds. Please note: work to be done along the creek qualifies as flood recovery and counts towards your 88-day visa renewal. In other words, whatever your passion is…horticulture, agriculture, tree planting, ecological restoration, rewilding, biodynamics, permaculture, holistic management, carpentry, fencing, welding, growing, producing and cooking food, rotational grazing, chicken caravans, we almost certainly have something for you to put your hands, enthusiasm and head to. The homestead is circa 1876 and she is quite a grand old lady, originally built by the Sir Rupert Clarke family for the first owner, John Hurst, esq., in exchange for land in what is now Clarkefield. You will be part of the family with your own room in the homestead and, between us, we speak/understand Italian, Spanish, French, German and Danish/Swedish/Norwegian. We have five dogs, two cats and two budgies, three Icelandic horses, a pony and a pig. Not all in the house!   We love to play tennis after dinner and also have pool that is, sadly, being renovated, so have swims in the waterhole on hot afternoons, a good way to cool off. If any of that sounds at all appealing please do get in touch Regards Lucy & Jack

Skills I Want to Learn:
I joined WWOOF because I love nature, animals, and the idea of sustainable living. I want to gain hands-on experience, learn new skills, and connect with like-minded people while exploring different parts of Australia. I’m excited to contribute through hard work, whether it’s helping with animals, gardening, or general farm tasks. For me, WWOOFing is not just about working but also about sharing experiences, learning from hosts, and immersing myself in a different way of life. I look forward to meaningful exchanges and unforgettable memories!

I own 25 acres of steep, rocky land in W Tree in the foothills of the Snowy Mountains. Over almost 35 years I have built (with considerable help) a lovely passive solar mudbrick house, planted crazy numbers of trees, gardened and raised my wonderful son. In many ways, I have worked towards a dream from my early 20's to build a country life. My place is lovely. The vast expanse of bushland that surrounds it is beyond spectacular. We can Sign off on your 2nd Year Visas as we were affected by the 2019-2020 Bushfires. PLEASE NOTE: MUST be fully Vaccinated- thank you

I'm looking for a way to validate my 88 days of work in order to apply for a second year visa, and what's best than doing it in a farm, with local people, and cute animals (I love all animals, big or small, furry or scaly).
