Skills I Want to Learn:
I'm really willing to get in touch with different ways of living and to learn tips of agriculture and sustainability for my future. I really like being in contact with nature and working with hands, body and soul, learning how to interact functionally in balance with Earth. I find Wwoof also a great way to increase the depth and shades of travelling, really entering and tasting the local life.

Our Eco Farming Hamlet is an organic, chemical free, permaculture demonstration farm that is located in the Sub-Tropical Bioregion of the beautiful, fertile, Byron Bay hinterland. Our homestead is called Grace Residence.  We live in Paradise House. centrally located in a 66 acre lush, private farm halfway between Nimbin and Lismore, approximately 25 minutes from both. Our homestead is surrounded by regenerated subtropical rainforest, with a thriving, established 27 year old sub-tropical food forest watered by a large picturesque aquaculture eco system at our doorstep. We have established handy food gardens adjacent to our large straw-bale homestead.  We enjoy caring for an animal system set up with holistic management principles.

J'ai choisi le woofing pour l'expérience humaine. Le concept est génial : rencontrer de vrais locaux et pouvoir les aider en échange d'hospitalité et de moments conviviaux.

I have a deep passion for nature and our beautiful planet, and intend to tread lightly and live as sustainably as I can while I'm here. I would LOVE to live as part of an off grid community, and so I want to learn as much I can about organic farming, and alternative lifestyles. I love learning new skills!

Having lived in a fast-paced city like Seoul, I’ve always longed for a chance to slow down and reconnect with nature. I believe that working on a farm, living sustainably, and being part of a community that values the earth is an experience that will enrich my life in ways I can’t yet imagine. I also see WWOOF as a chance to challenge myself—not just physically, but mentally and emotionally. I want to step away from the comforts of city life, learn to work with my hands, and experience a lifestyle that is deeply rooted in nature and simplicity. Beyond the work itself, I’m excited about the people I’ll meet along the way. I believe that every place has its own rhythm, and every person has a story to tell. I hope to learn not only about organic farming but also about different perspectives, ways of life, and the kind of wisdom that comes from living close to the land.

For me, WWOOFing is an incredible opportunity to truly immerse myself in Australian life. I see it as a way to feel useful to the local community, contribute positively, and learn from those who live here. By working alongside locals, I hope to better understand the culture, traditions, and daily life in Australia. Additionally, having guidance for my first steps here will be invaluable. It’s important to me to start my journey in a supportive environment where I can feel connected and have a meaningful exchange with people from different backgrounds. I’m eager to be involved in various tasks and responsibilities and am ready to put in the effort to make a real contribution. WWOOFing represents not only a chance to learn practical skills but also an experience that will help me grow personally. I look forward to this unique opportunity to make connections and friendships as I discover the beauty of Australia.

Before coming to WWOOF, I spent three months living in Sydney. I was transferred from the interior design company I worked for in Korea to its Australian branch. Although it was a short time, it made me realize that I wanted to stay in Australia longer. That’s why I’ve decided to meet the requirements to extend my visa—and joining WWOOF is one of the ways I’m doing that. But more than just ticking a box, I wanted to make this working holiday experience truly meaningful. I hope that when I look back on my time in Australia, I’ll have no regrets—and that’s what brought me here.

I joined WWOOF because it's an awesome way to travel saving money while being able to help other people at their properties! I like meeting new people and making friends. I appreciate the exchange of skills.

We have a friend and my brother who have totally enjoyed experiences working with woofing, and wanted to embrace and enjoy this culture. To see more of the world, learn and experience other worlds and lives. Meeting people along the way.

I joined WWOOF to discover new activities, meet people, and improve my English. I will be hitchhiking between Batemans Bay and Melbourne, and I would like to stop along the way to explore this part of Australia through WWOOFing.

WWOOF Australia acknowledges the Traditional owners of the land on which we work. We honour the ongoing cultural & spiritual connections, heritage, customs & beliefs of Aboriginal people & pay respect to Elders past, present and emerging.
