Small hobby farm in a stunning location on the NSW Central Coast Currently operating as a Farm stay, Events Hub and Organic food Producer (non certified) We currently have Alpacas, goats, cows, ducks, chickens and 5 border collie dogs. We are just over 1 hour north of Sydney on 12 lush acres with a large veggie garden. We have a self-contained cottage that we rent out through Air BnB from time to time.  It's very comfortable and any woofers would have access to the cottage for their stay. We grow a decent variety of produce in the veggie garden using natural practices along with honey, eggs and some meat from time to time. We have a fantastic network of lovely neighbors and some great bush walks nearby. We are a family of 4 and would love to share our farm with you 🙂

50-acre hobby farm, nestled in between the Burrum Coast National Park and the Isis River on a section of pristine waterway, a breathtaking natural environment. 30 minutes from Hervey Bay. We are using biodynamic principles to create our own soil and fertlisers, for food production and barter. Sandy soil means we start from scratch building raised garden areas and creating fertile soil using the resources nature supplies. Meet our friendly chickens and see nature up close as parrots, ducks, kangaroos, and wallabies regularly come to browse. Swim in the river, fish, kayak, bird watch or just relax in your downtime.

I joined WWOOF because I believe it’s the best way to truly get to know a place — by becoming part of someone else’s story. I’m especially drawn to hardworking people who live in connection with the land. Staying in one place for a while gives me grounding and a sense of belonging that fuels the journey ahead.

I am so interested in the people who run farms, how they do it and what keeps them going. I hope to learn from hosts and other wwoofers and do as good a job as I can along the way.

We joined WWOOF as part of our process to extend our Working Holiday Visas, and also because we’re genuinely interested in learning through hands-on experiences and cultural exchange. WWOOFing is a great opportunity for us to connect with local communities, experience farm life, and contribute in a meaningful way. We're both responsible, curious, and excited to learn more about sustainable living, teamwork, and the rhythm of rural life.

I have used Wwoof in other countries with success and have heard all sorts of wonderful stories from other Wwoofers. Coming from an agricultural background and having studied regenerative agriculture, land based work is a deep interest of mine.

We have a beautiful 25 acre property in the Gold Coast Hinterland with stunning views where we have been creating our dream of living in total Self-Sufficiency and harmony with nature over the last 10 years through studying and practicing permaculture farming methods. We have planted hundreds of tropical fruit trees, food forests and veggie gardens and are looking for likeminded WWOOFERS to help grow and maintain our organic farm. We are surrounded by natural Australian bush habitat with lots of native wildlife including Koalas, Kangaroos, Wallaby’s, Echidnas, Rainbow Lorikeets, Black & White Cockatoos, and Eagles sighted daily and many more of God's wonderful creatures. Volunteering may include harvesting, food collection, composting, mulching, weeding, fencing, planting, food preservation, bee keeping, brush cutting, digging holes, building animal enclosures, as skills permit. Accommodation is for 1-2 people in fully self-contained accommodation with food provided where possible. We are passionate about health, fitness and wellness and eat a healthy, sustainable diet. Many meals are vegan or vegetarian. Our property is a short 15-20 minutes drive to Australia's finest beaches, Burleigh Beach, Palm Beach, Currumbin & Tugun Beach, as well as Tallebudgera Creek & Currumbin Creek. Less than 1 hour drive to Byron Bay, just over 1 hour drive from Brisbane and only 25 minutes from the Gold Coast Air Port. Amberly is a 250 acre, family run cattle and free-range egg farm close to the Murrumbidgee River and conveniently located in the suburbs just 20 minutes from the centre of Canberra. 3000 unfenced chickens are free to range at will, protected by our beautiful Maremma guardian dogs. We have a large vegetable garden, a recently established mixed orchard and bees for family use. We firmly believe that sustainable farming means looking after the environment as the first priority. We have recently been received a national award from Landcare Australia for Innovation in Agriculature and Land Management. Work includes fencing, weeding, mowing, gardening, landscaping and working with the farm animals. Longer stays often see wwoofers learning new skills by getting involved in projects where we are building new infrastructure on the farm. Accomodation in our passive solar straw-bale house.

Breed and show Paint horses, Miniature Mediterranean and Irish Donkies, Hereford cattle and Alpacas . We are in a peaceful rural area surrounded by beautiful rolling hills of pasture. Paradise! I have been establishing the property for the past 12 months and there is still a lot to do.
