We have a truffle farm and produce the French Black Perigord truffle. We also practice regenerative farming with the use of a Pedigree South Devon cattle herd. We have several calves born at our farm each year. Our farm is situated in the Central highlands of Victoria in a sub alpine region. We are 700 metres above sea level. Our property is surrounded by well established large trees and has been thoughtfully designed and manicured to prevent as little disturbance as possible. In 2022 we completed the construction of our home on the farm and designed it in such a way that it has a light footprint on the property and has views to our livestock regardless of which paddock they reside. It is truly a pleasure to live in this region, in this house and doing what we love on a daily basis.

25 acres of stunning conservation land encompassing pasture, wetlands & native bush. We are right on the tranquil waters of Mangrove Creek where you can fish, swim and canoe all year round and we are surrounded by sandstone mountains, incredible bush and unique Aboriginal sacred areas. Great bushwalking all around! Volunteering includes weeding, gardening, making new garden beds, making compost teas, care of chickens and bush regeneration. There is an extensive bush food garden on the property. We also do lots of preserving produce and love making medicines, tinctures, salves etc. We also love eco-dyeing and have a big shed with lots of wood working equipment. Another resident who lives in his homemade tiny house on our property is a master craftsman and is always willing to share his knowledge. We often do building and art projects as well. Accom for 1-6 people in the rustic separate farmhouse (complete with sauna!), or you are welcome to camp if you prefer. Children possible. Stays of minimum 1 week, longer stays preferred. We are a relaxed and fun family (with adult children!) who enjoy music, great food, and all lifes adventures and we look forward to meeting you! This is a great opportunity for couples or friends as you will have a house to yourselves for most of the time. There is good wi-fi. It’s great if you have your own vehicle but we can pick you up from public transport nearby. We have hosted young and older people from all over the world and most become like family. 🤗

When my mother visited Japan as I was studying PhD there, she was impressed by the advanced agriculture with flourished rice harvests, premium fruits like shine muscat, and high-quality meats and seafoods. Given the fact that the agriculture in Vietnam has been ovelooked and neglected for decades because of the industrialization trend in manufacturing across the country, we feel concerned that it is not straightforward to get the sector back on track. Furthermore, when returning to Vietnam after my PhD, it is a big surprise to me that many agri-food imported from Australia is available in the market such as grapes, oranges, milk, etc., which would have been unrealistic before the pandemic. Additionally, as working in a rural hospital, I usually encounter many patients who work as farmers in a traditional way. As a result, their chief complaints are usually neck pain, back pain, and hand/knee pain as symptoms of spondylosis and osteoarthritis. While traveling with my mother will be a joyful and adventurous trip for us, I also want to explore more not only the advancement in healthcare but also the beauty of nature and the development of the agriculture in Australia. I hope those valuable experiences will bring me an innovative insight into the way of taking care of people and environment around us.

I've joined WWOOF as a way to give back some time and energy to Australia while I am travelling. I want to be able to benefit the country I will be staying in rather than just taking from it, and I am keen to get involved with local communities and experiencing the lives of local people at the same time. As I am in the food industry, if possible I would also love to experience examples of farm-to-table living, and see farms and gardens that are supporting the local food industry. I am slowly considering my own food business, and would be keen to get experience and inspiration from people and businesses who are creating food production chains. I am a big advocate of local, seasonal produce and am interested in getting more hand-on experience in the food growing side, to go alongside my kitchen food production work.

This is an inner city house on a small block of land (5km from airport & 5km from Sydney CBD) close to transport. I have an organic garden, some trees, and vegetables and enjoy to eat from my garden. There is always weeding, pruning, compost to spread & some house maintenance. Accommodation for 2 in a double bed with own bedroom. No smoking inside. I welcome people with a great outlook on life and interest in the maintenance of an organic garden in an urban environment and the choice of appropriate vegetables to grow in raised garden beds.I am disabled, so my meals are delivered, but I usually eat with Wwoofas. Located in Cape Kimberley, Daintree Rainforest, we are a 527 acre property with a goal of transforming an old organic banana farm back into lush rainforest, pushing for restoration focused on enhancing biodiversity, creating wildlife corridors for local fauna and a re-connection between primitive rainforest and some of the most diverse and productive mangrove ecosystems in the world. To do this, we will be planting over 360,000 native trees.
