We have a farming business just 4 hours drive south of Sydney producing angus beef cattle. Jobs range from fencing, mustering cows, collecting eggs from our 10 chickens bushfire recovery work which is eligable specified work for the purpose of second or third work holiday (subclass 417) visa. WWOOFers need no experience and will have the opportunity to see horses, motorbikes and participate in general farm life. We would like WWOOFers to be outgoing and enthusiastic, and if time permits have fun participating in other outdoor activities. Accommodation for 1-2 in our home. We enjoy Meat-style meals. Non-smokers only. Prefer long stays after short trial period.

We're looking for a double bed for the first few weeks of our trip. WWOOFing is a great way to meet Australians and learn more about the country. It's also a way to save money to extend our trip.

440 acres of mixed pasture land focusing on improving the soil using regenerative practises. The animals are carefully managed to aid us with our soil improvements. We farm approx 2,000 laying chickens, 20 dairy cows milked once a day, approx 60 beef cows, approx 15 pigs on pasture, a small flock of sheep, laying ducks and other pets around the house yard. We also grow and harvest approx 1 acre of biodynamic garlic. There is seasonal work involved with this.

This is our first time joining WWOOF, and we are very excited about the experience! Our main goals are to help people with their projects, discover new ways of living, and immerse ourselves in the local culture. We also want to improve our English skills—we currently have some basic knowledge, but we’d like to strengthen it so we can hold conversations more confidently. We are eager to learn and aren’t afraid of hard work. Whether it’s gardening, animal care, or household tasks, we’re ready to lend a hand wherever needed. We are passionate about connecting with people, learning from others, and contributing positively to a shared environment. WWOOFing represents an amazing opportunity for us to step out of our comfort zone, embrace new experiences, and grow both personally and professionally. We hope to be part of your project and look forward to this rewarding adventure! Best regards, Romain & Inès

As s student I joined so I could travel, practise languages and learn about organic farming. It's still my intention 20 years later now 🙂 During German winter I work mostly in late/night shifts in a night shelter for homeless people in Berlin. It's a demanding job and I never get to see the daylight. As soon as it's spring and my contract ends I try to spend as much as time outside.

I want to spend time in nature and connect with people from different cultures. I’m excited about the opportunity to support local lifestyles as a WWOOFer and to learn about the culture through real-life experiences. My English is not perfect, but I feel happy when I’m able to communicate with people who speak different languages. Through working as a WWOOFer, I hope to gain new and wonderful experiences.

I've already been to Australia as an au pair when I was young and I would really like to go back to live with locals, because I have a beautiful memory of it. I've already done WWOOF volunteer in New Zeland and I really like it and that is why I would still like to have the opportunity to live a new experience with Australian hosts.

Having lived most of my life in a city, I've barely spent any time in nature, but working holidays, to me are all about trying and learning new things, things that I wouldn't experience back home. Wwoofing is the perfect way for me to do all of that. I did some kiwi-picking in NZ, and while it was tiring and even painful at times, it was so much fun. I'd love to spend more time on farms and try out different sorts of farm work.

I joined WWOOF because I see it as a wonderful opportunity to experience real Australian life, improve my English, and connect with people from different backgrounds. I hope to contribute a few hours a day helping my host, while also having some time to dedicate to my studies and to managing my company remotely. I am also excited about building new friendships, learning new skills, and living unique and meaningful experiences during this special time in my life.

I arrived in Sydney in November with a friend, and we worked in a restaurant for two months. Now we are in Melbourne, but city life doesn’t suit me. I am unhappy here, and this is not the life I came to Australia for—I didn’t come all this way just to do what I was already doing in France. My friend and I don’t have the same expectations, and I feel the need to go on an adventure on my own. I want to explore, reconnect with nature, and have a more meaningful experience.

The main reason I want to join WWOOF is because I love nature, enjoy a simple lifestyle, and support green energy. I try to be as environmentally friendly as possible in my daily life. I started working at a young age and have been exposed to many different industries, which made me appreciate a more simple and pure way of living. I hope this kind of simplicity can be beneficial to both the environment and living beings. I don't want my life to be solely driven by money or human interests. Instead, I hope to do things that contribute to the common good of the world—things that bring me joy and fulfillment. A friend introduced me to WWOOF, and I became very interested. I hope to join, learn things that aren't available in Taiwan, and experience things that I wouldn't be able to in my home country.

The Cook, her pigs, the Climate Change Scientist & his cows, check us out on Google Earth. We offer great food (sorry no special diets) with interesting conversation in a beautiful valley within bike riding distance of Cygnet and the beach. We offer advice on purchasing your own property, cookery, charcuterie-in autumn, market gardening, cookery, preserving, cider making and animal husbandry. We farm organically and try to live as sustainably as possible, we employ principles of permaculture. Volunteering includes feeding poultry & animals, planting, weeding, mowing, compost making, brewing, fencing, occasional animal slaughter (only if you are interested) and processing & General Farm Maintenance. Accommodation for 2 singles within our home, or a couple in our caravan attached to the house, see the picture. Shared meals, mixed diets. Can P/U from Cygnet any day or Hobart by arrangement if flight arrives before 3pm between Tues-Thurs. Please don't come to us directly from overseas or if you are ill, as I am in the high risk group for respiratory problems. WWOOFers must be prepared to work independently at times. No smokers. Minimum stay 2 weeks. We prefer longer stays by WWOOFers with a genuine interest in agriculture. Initial contact by email, please. WiFi unlimited. If no answer leave a message slowly, stating your name and number and we will get back to you. We want to leave our land in a lot better state than we found it. We are supporters of the Tasmanian Land Conservancy and The Bob Brown Foundation which both preserve old growth forests and special areas of value to flora, fauna and eco-systems. In the long term we are looking for someone to park a tiny house on the property and take over all the gardens, land and animals to allow us more freedom to travel and spend time with our families but still have somewhere to call home.

We live on an urban block 200 meters to the beach in a small seaside village on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, Australia. We grow veggies and some fruit trees, treat everything that comes into our house as a precious resource for reuse. We have several composts and a worm farm. A bus to town goes by our door for transport or you can use our bikes. I love to cook (primarily from the garden). We have a queen sized bedroom, private living space and large bathroom available for WWOOFers.
