I would really love the opportunity to venture beyond my "regular" corporate life and explore what the world has to offer! I love learning about new cultures, experiences and languages and am very happy to share all of my experiences so far as well.

I joined WWOOF because I want to learn more about sustainable lifestyles and agriculture through real experiences. During my time in Zambia, I saw how people live closely with nature and value food deeply. That inspired me to get involved in farming myself. I also want to connect with local hosts, learn practical skills, and understand how food is grown and shared. I hope to grow as a person through these hands-on experiences and contribute with a positive, energetic attitude.

My goal is to improve my English through interacting with people and experiencing nature. My grandfather lives in the countryside of Japan and grows a variety of plants. I only get to see him a few times a year, but every time we meet I'm so happy to be able to take care of the plants together. I also have a dream of interacting with and taking care of animals that are not so familiar to me, such as sheep and goats. WWOOF. Through this, I hope to be able to communicate with people who live in different environments that I have never met before, help each other, and experience various things, such as taking care of animals and plants, which is my dream. Also, since I am not fluent in English, I would like to communicate a lot in English and improve my English skills. I would also like to talk a lot about traditional Japanese things.

We became aware of WWOOF through social media while planning our gab year. And because we believe that it is not always about the money, but also about experiences and lerning from each other, we decided to join WWOOF. We are doing our year abroad in Australia to get to know the country and the people, to improve our language skills and for the experience itself. We also hope to get inspired for our future life. We know that sustanability plays a major role in todays society and agriculture even more so. Fore us, WWOOF combines all the above aspects: Learning about culture and language, as well as sustainable agricluture.

I have a small farm in WA's SouthWest which has established fruit trees, cows, chickens and 2 homes plus a granny flat - so accomodation is flexible. We are on rain water, so use it wisely and use river water for the toilets - so they dont sparkle like most lavatories. There is plenty of places for growing more veg but I have gotten behind in the maintenance of the raised beds. So I would like help here and infinishing some small amount of landscaping. It is beautiful and quiet with a large variety of birds on the property. There is also a strong focus on health and fitness to balance the workload.

I want to get hands on practical experience and learning on a range of different farms to help orient my future career. I work in climate strategy and understand how fundamental the way we produce and consume food is to being resilient into the future, and want to be part of bringing about change to the way we do this that allows us to improve soil and nourish people. I want to learn and absorb it all to understand the contexts of different growing, what works and what doesn’t, how different approaches are being sought. I’m very excited that I’m taking this time to learn and grow in the area that sets my heart on fire.

I had a farm experience in Melbourne, Australia, where I enjoyed experiencing Australia's nature and animals, and developed a longing for speaking English. Through the farm stay, I was able to learn about other people's culture and values, which were completely different from the Japanese values I had, and I fell in love with Australia. My sister also studied abroad on the Gold Coast, so I have a positive and friendly image of Australia. It has been my dream since I was little to be surrounded by an English-only environment, and I have been studying English every day, so I want to improve my English skills. I would be glad to work in your farm and I'm eager to learn more about farming!!
