I’m doing the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Residential Project to complete my program and expand my skill sets. It’s a great opportunity for personal growth, and I’m excited to challenge myself and learn new things along the way.

I joined WWOOF because I’m eager to gain hands-on experience in sustainable farming and learn about life on a farm. I’ve always enjoyed taking on new challenges, and working on a farm seems like the perfect opportunity to learn practical skills that I haven’t explored before.

My partner and I live on a small life-style property. It is not a farm and we do not live in Suburbia. We own a 3 acre bush block - all gum trees - no animals, no crops. We live just 10 minutes from Kempsey and only 20 minutes from the very popular surf beach, Crescent Head. There are two dwellings on our property; we live in one and we also have a flat on the same property for our guests. Part of the flat is also my pottery studio. We would appreciate help with some landscaping ideas and jobs such preparing firewood for the coming winter months. I am a full-time potter and I tutor workshops from my studio therefore I could also use a helping hand with pottery projects and workshops. We do not have pets because we like to encourage the wild life, especially the Australian bird life.

I want to join WWOOF to work on permaculture farms and learn the principles of permaculture farming and develop my skills. I chose to go to Australia because that's where permaculture was born. So I'm very keen to find out about your farm, to help you in your day-to-day activities and to train myself in the process.

Skills I Want to Learn:
I joined WWOOF because I wanted to see a wider world beyond Japan. I hope to experience and absorb different cultures and values, and to feel the beauty of the world firsthand. As I have been studying international cultures, I strongly wanted to go out into the world and see it with my own eyes. Also, because I am still discovering who I am, I want to spend this year exploring what kind of environment suits me best.

We are a group of 4 families who run 3 properties all next door to each other around the Weir River. We are fortunate to live in such a beautiful area, with a mix of open grazing country running into brigalo timber and down into lightly forested river country. We are 40 mins from both Goondiwindi and Moonie. We have a fully seperate 4 bedroom house for you to stay in that has been recently renovated, with wifi and mobile service available. We also have a lot of diversity, with sheep, stud cattle, cropping, breeding and training horses, as well as cutting/camp-draft training amongst ourselves, there is something here to interest everybody.

We are situated in the Keysbrook hills (Binjareb Noongar country), about 1 hour south of Perth, Western Australia. We have a small holding of 7 acres with a winter creek, open pasture, orchard, and a bush area that connects to the adjacent forest where the Munda Biddi cycle trail runs past the property. For swimming, the nearby North Dandalup Dam is perfect for a refreshing dip at the end of a hot day in summer & for picnics throughout the year. We are revitalising the permaculture design that was developed between 1998 - 2016 with the help of many Wwoofer's when my parents and at different times my siblings were living here over those 18 years. We are now regenerating the design to be more suitable for changing climate conditions and our aspirations to connect urban dwellers to nature and growing food. In our gardening and design work, we engage with Wwoofers as co-learners. This means we recognise we are always on a learning journey of observation and experimentation, integrating our experiences while also hearing about people's inspiration, insights, and reactions to our approach as feedback for reflection. Our primary focus is that we work toward a design that support anyone that spends time here to experience this place as an opportunity to connect to self, others, nature and place - our contribution to people and planet.

I just came to Australia. Since I lived in a city, I didn't have much opportunity to experience nature. I want to learn about Australia's nature and culture by helping my host here. And I also want to meet new people!

This is a 7 acre property (3 acres of forest adjoining National Park), located on the slopes of Gulaga, a sacred mountain overlooking the ocean. A small creek studded with granite boulders, tree ferns & pristine swimming holes run through the property, and a few kilometres away are endless wild beaches. Great mountain walks. We have a large Organic vegetable garden, fruit trees & chickens. Other areas are being landscaped or regenerated. We also manufacture a range of flower essences from Himalayan Wildflowers. Volunteering is varied: landscape or (organic) vegetable gardening, helping with flower essence production. Accom for 3-4 people in the house. No children. A good sense of humour and love of life a big plus. Negotiable stays. We can sign off on 88 Days, see below for more information.

I'm looking for a farm to volunteer. As finding farm work hasn’t been easy, A friend from the hostel recommended volunteering, and I decided to give it a try. Because I need my necessary visa days requirements, and she also told me it was amazing experience.

Help Needed to rebuild our sustainable, self-sufficient lifestule. BUSH FIRE  destroyed our property. We are 1.3hrs direct rail route south west of Sydney and airports. We need help to build new animal pens, a new vegie garden and  help to repair our food forest.  Accom for two friends or a couple in the Tiny House. It has two single beds, tv, WIFI,  kitchen, shower, table and chairs. Access to toilet and washing machine nearby. I have a small hobby farm in Tamborine, home to cows, sheep, a few goats, chickens, and guinea fowls, as well as some small, friendly dogs. The farm is located in a peaceful area, less than an hour from both Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Accommodation is provided in a fully furnished private room separate from the main house. It includes a fridge, TV, and Netflix access for your comfort. In the main house, you’ll have access to laundry facilities, the kitchen, and your own private bathroom. Recently, Tropical Storm Alfred caused some damage to the property, including fallen trees and flooding. As a result, there’s currently quite a bit to do around the farm in addition to the daily animal care. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I have a 10-acre property in the countryside outside Bridgetown Western Australia with established paddocks, garden beds, a greenhouse, and a huge chicken coop—with nothing in them yet! The property has great potential, but I have limited time with my work schedule, so I’m looking to get it all set up with the help of some local farmers and WWOOFers. I have a fully off grid caravan for a WWOOFer with bed, kitchen, fridge freezer, bathroom with full size shower, gas heater, outside undercover area, phone coverage, WIFI, solar power, rain collection water.
