We are a small scale farm located within the swan valley 25 min drive from Perth. Our primary area of farming is animal husbandry. We have cattle, sheep, pigs and chickens that we feed and look after daily. We also farm fruit and veg and produce wood fired bread that we sell at our weekend market stall at the front of our property.

We've been part of WWOOF since 1993 when we had our first French WWOOFer. I've done some WWOOFing myself overseas and loved the experience. We're a happy family, settled in the Warrumbungle Mountain, a 50,000 hectare island refuge in the middle of farming & grazing land. Our 1036ha property is nestled into the south side of the Warrumbungle mountains surrounded on 3 sides by National Park with superb views of Mt Terrace, Mt Exmouth, the Bluff, Bluff Pyramid, Tonduron Spire & Mt Naman. There are good bushwalking tracks with plenty of wildlife & many species of trees & birds (Wedge-tail Eagle & rare Turquoise Parrot). We live in a historical pioneer homestead built in 1882 and have a permaculture garden & orchard, sheep (shearing in June, crutching in Dec), horses, dogs, chickens, ducks, turkeys & yabbies. Volunteering includes building, gardening, fencing, firewood & mustering. Accommodation in house, hut or BYO with mixed meals. We welcome children b.a. We sing songs and have plenty of laughs so bring along your talent & musical instruments! Prefer WWOOFers to call instead of email. Hope to hear from you soon.

Skills I Want to Learn: Organic Practices, Permaculture/Biodynamics, Biodynamics practices and techniques
In the search for new skills I am especially drawn but not restricted  to Community-sufficiency, Syntropic Agroforestry and food forests in general, Deep Ecology, Permaculture, Irrigation systems, Living Design process and the lists never ends as I am still in the process of gathering as much information to later on carve it out in the shapes of knowledge and wisdom applied to my own context . I have been living in Australia for last 7 years where I have had multiple jobs and household arrangement with lots of skills acquired and transferable to the WWOOF community ethics. I am now jumping into a more hands-on experience after having spent the last 2-3 years in the theoretical realm of books and courses in the above-mentioned topics. To sum up, my goal is to gather as much information, knowledge and wisdom as I can for the next 6-8 months to take it back to Colombia where my like-minded crew is awaiting for it. In exchange, I have the most positive attitude, a hard-working spirit and a resilient mindset to wwoof away.

We would like to meet and collaborate with like minded people. Hayley and I grew up on the remote south coast of Western Australia and enjoyed home gardening, growing food and joining in with our small local communities. Given we are planning to tow our Tiny House around Australia, we are looking to continue working with soil and plants and animals to sustain our health and well-being whilst treading lightly on the earth. Another factor in wanting to join Willing Workers On Organic Farms is the Permaculture Design Course that I completed in Central Victoria with David Holmgren. David promotes living in community and organic growing so it is a natural choice for Hayley and I and our two young girls.

On our 5acre rural block in Clear Mountain, we are surrounded by birdsong, wallabies, koalas, and a host of smaller bush critters. Our place is a peaceful blend of bushland and creative space. While not a full-scale farm, we have a small pineapple patch, a few avocado trees, and 500 Silver-Perch fingerlings growing in our dam. Our main environmental focus is native bush management—preserving the natural flora and fauna, particularly for our local koalas. Alongside this, the property includes a working art studio and gallery space.

WWOOF Australia acknowledges the Traditional owners of the land on which we work. We honour the ongoing cultural & spiritual connections, heritage, customs & beliefs of Aboriginal people & pay respect to Elders past, present and emerging.
